Tamala Jones - Wetpaint - Sobre Temporada 5 (Spoilers)

You know Tamala Jones as the sharp, easy-going medical examiner Lanie Parish on Castle. At the ABC All-Star Party during the 2013 2013 TCA Winter Press Tour, Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the lovely star to discuss what’s happening next on our favorite crime drama for the characters and their crazy cases (and possible romances!) in Season 5.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What's coming up?

Tamala Jones: Castle has got some crazy twists and turns. There's a huge storyline coming up on Alexis and Martha, and we have a Valentine's episode as well.

Let's break it down. What’s happening with Alexis and Martha?

I can't really say what, but just know there's major stuff going on. And when I say major, more major than you've ever seen on Castle. That's all I can say. Between the two of them, hardcore.

And what can you tell us about the Valentine's episode?

I think the fans are going to get a glimpse into something they've been requesting, a little Lanie and Esposito heat, finally. But it's really cute, really sexy. So expect something nice for Valentine's Day.

I was going to ask about a potential love interest for Esposito. Is there someone else in the picture?

If there is, Lanie does not know about it. And if there is, and she finds out about it, it's going to be hell to pay for Esposito. That I can honestly say. But Valentine’s is a happy, steamy, romantic moment.

What kind of cases are we solving?

These cases are insane. The twists and turns I was talking about are so intense where you think you’ve solved it, like all the other times, but it's more intense because it's like, "Oh, that wasn't it." And then you get through another little tunnel, and you think you've got the culprit there. That ain't it either. It's like a roller coaster ride that you're going to go on with Castle and the crimes and the murder and the mystery. A kidnapping.

Can we be more specific?

No. I can't. I'm just going to tell you that there's some crazy stuff going on here, and it's on a level of Castle intertwined with X Files with Scandal. It's just craziness. I can't even . . .

What about Castle and Beckett? Where's that going?

I'm wondering about that too because this last episode with the ex‑wife, it could go anywhere from there. Is Beckett really going to take that? Is she going to be OK with that because I don't think this will be the first time or the last time that this woman pops up on them. I think she's trying to get Castle back. That's just my personal opinion, and a little bit of a hint, but we'll see what happens.

Is she going to be back?

I can't say. You're going to get me in trouble. Just know that it's juicy.

What are some of your big milestone episodes coming up?

We have a double episode that we're shooting right now, and it's a good one. Rob Bowman's directing it, and Bill Roe is directing the other half. It's going to be amazing. Sex, action‑packed, explosion, scandal, craziness.

What about this 3XK killer?

Oh, we're not done with him. There's still something there, which could possibly have to do with some part of the scandal coming up.

Realmente no puedo decir qué, pero sólo sé que vienen cosas importantes. Y cuando digo importante, más más importante de lo que hayas visto en Castle. Esto es todo lo que puedo decir. Entre ellas dos, completamente comprometido.

¿Y qué nos puedes decir sobre el episodio de San Valentín?

Creo que los fans van a dar un vistazo a algo que han estado pidiendo, un poco de calor Lanie y Esposito, por fin. Pero es muy lindo, muy sexy. Así que esperamos que algo bueno para el Día de San Valentín.

Yo iba a preguntar sobre un posible interés amoroso para Esposito. ¿Hay alguien más en la imagen?

Si lo hay, Lanie no sabe nada de ella. Y si lo hay, y ella se entera de ella, va a haber un infierno para Esposito. Eso es lo que puedo decir honestamente. Pero San Valentín es un momento romántico, feliz y vaporoso.

¿Qué tipo de casos resolvéis?

Estos casos son una locura. Las vueltas y revueltas de lo que hablaba son tan intensas que crees que se ha resuelto, como todas las otras veces, pero es más intensa, porque es como, "Oh, eso no fue todo." Y entonces traspasas otro túnel pequeño, y piensas que tienes al culpable allí. Tampoco es eso. Es como un viaje en montaña rusa que va a continuar con Castle, los crímenes, el asesinato y el misterio. Un secuestro.

¿Podemos ser más específico?

No. No puedo. Sólo voy a decir que sucederán algunas cosas locas, y está a la altura de un Castle entrelazado con Expediente X con Scandal. Es simplemente una locura. Ni siquiera puedo. . .

¿Qué hay con Castle y Beckett? ¿Adónde van?

También me pregunto sobre eso, porque en este último episodio con la ex-mujer, podría ir a cualquier parte. ¿Realmente Beckett va a coger eso? ¿Está bien con eso? porque no creo que esta sea la primera ni la última vez que esta mujer aparece. Creo que está intentando que Castle regrese. Eso es sólo mi opinión personal, y una pequeña sugerencia, pero vamos a ver qué pasa.

¿Ella regresará?

No puedo decir. Vas a meterme en problemas. Sólo sé que es jugoso.

¿Cuáles son algunos de los grandes episodios que se aproximan?

Tenemos un episodio doble que estamos grabando ahora mismo, y es una buena idea. Rob Bowman lo está dirigiendo, y Bill Roe está dirigiendo la otra mitad. Va a ser increíble. Sexo, lleno de acción, explosiones, escándalo, locura.

¿Qué pasa con el asesino 3XK?

Oh, no hemos terminado con él. Todavía hay algo ahí, lo cual podría tener que ver con alguna parte del escándalo que tiene por venir.
